একদিন এক কৃষক ঘোড়ার পিঠে কয়েক বস্তা গম নিয়ে একটি চাতালের দিকে যাচ্ছিল। চাতালটি তার গ্রাম থেকে কয়েক কিলোমিটার দূরে ছিল। পথে হঠাৎ ঘোড়াটি হোঁচট খায় এবং একটি গমের বস্তা মাটিতে পড়ে যায়। কৃষকটি খুব বিপদে পড়ে গেল, কারণ আশেপাশে তাকে সাহায্য করার মতো কেউ ছিল না।
